Melanie Pickard

Founder, Principal Educator, and Event Coordinator

Melanie graduated magna cum laude with honors from Pacific Union College, Angwin, California. She is equally comfortable talking about the American Civil War and integral calculus: she has a degree in History and a minor in Math. She taught high school for six years in subjects as diverse as Spanish, social studies, biology, and math. She was chair of the Math Department at Santa Rosa Christian School (California). She has tutored high school and college students for fifteen years in algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, biology, chemistry, physics, history, and social studies.

Keith Francis, PhD

Founder, Principal Educator, and Event Coordinator

Keith has a PhD from King’s College, University of London. He has degrees in history and religion. He is the author of a book on Charles Darwin, the editor of book on the history of the sermon, and has written several articles published in books and academic journals. He has taught at Pacific Union College, California, and Baylor University, Texas. He was also involved in recruiting and college counseling at both institutions. Since 2012 he has graded test papers for the Educational Testing Service (which administers the SAT, AP, and GRE exams) and has taught courses for the University of Maryland’s online college, UMUC.

Connor O’Neal

Office Administrator and Event Coordinator

Connor graduated from Cardinal Newman School, Santa Rosa, California in 2011. He is currently at student at Santa Rosa Junior College. In the future he intends to transfer to one of the University of California schools as a Pre-Med Nutritional Science major.
